Miss Alaynah Gonzalez has been involved in the arts for her entire life. Beginning musical theater at age 6, she has performed in 30+ productions, stage managed, choreographed, vocal directed, and production managed several productions. At age 11, she began her formal piano training under the direction of her oldest sister, Sarah Leon, who is her biggest musical inspiration.

She took piano lessons until age 16, at which point she remained self-taught. At age 17, Miss Alaynah began teaching in-home piano lessons and fell in love with it, but sadly had to stop abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At age 21, she began her college education, studying jazz voice as her main instrument.

She is currently working towards AA degrees in music and psychology, eventually pursuing B.A. degrees in music therapy and music education. Currently, Miss Alaynah works as a student assistant in the Las Positas department of music and is actively involved with worship ministry at her church, playing piano and singing as well as directing the youth ministry worship team.

Her heart for music comes from the outlet musicianship has been for her, and its ability to connect and minister to people. She is so excited to teach each and every student and hopes your journey with Sacred Sounds is full of nothing but joy.
